Anil’s experience spans over 18 years of forensic and investigation services across multiple industries. He specializes in Corporate Fraud Investigations, Brand Protection, TSCM, and Corporate Intelligence Services.
Anil began his forensic career with Hill & Associates where he successfully led assignments in the Asian region involving Due Diligence on individuals, Companies, Asset Tracing, Fraud Investigations, and IPR assignments.
He later moved to Grant Thornton and was instrumental in setting up the Corporate Intelligence & field investigations vertical, and successfully managed all India operations for close to nine years.
During his stint with Grant Thornton Anil executed various assignments (pertaining to fraud, Asset tracing and recovery, IPR, and Due Diligence checks) for the World Bank, IFC, and other major financial institutions, PE firms, Oil & Gas refineries for entities based out of India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Singapore, and Vietnam. An integral member of one of the key investigations conducted by the World Bank in 2011, he was highly praised for his contribution by the Department of Institutional Integrity (The World Bank). He also successfully concluded a fraud investigation for a major Oil & Gas refinery.
Anil has also conducted complex IPR investigations and enforcement actions across the length and breadth of India for software, baby care (fmcg), surgical, pharmaceutical, Auto component, motion pictures, beverages, wine and spirits, and lifesaving drugs for various multinational companies in India. He’s also received certifications from Microsoft’s Forensic Analysis team in this regard.
Anil Later moved on to Pinkerton Risk Management Services where he headed the Corporate Fraud Investigations team successfully concluding fire forensic investigations, corruption enquiries for Oil & Gas refinery, AML/KYC Compliance related work for financial institutions.
Anil in a consulting role has worked with certain prominent law firms assisting them in Corporate Fraud investigations, Computer Forensics, IPR investigations, Vendor due diligence, and Asset Tracing investigations. He has also executed numerous TSCM assignments
Ankush began his chartered accounting career with Grant Thornton India’s – Assurance, Tax, and Regulatory practice. During his tenure with Grant Thornton India LLP, he worked in various financial auditing assignments in Retail, Mining, Construction & Media industry. Ankush has worked on numerous Forensic accounting investigations and also advises on Regulatory & compliance related issues.
Manik began his chartered accounting career with Grant Thornton India’s – Assurance, Tax, and Regulatory practice. During his tenure of over 7 years with Grant Thornton India LLP, he worked in complex accounting and advisory services for manufacturing and service industry. Manik has worked on numerous Forensic accounting investigations and also advises on Regulatory & compliance related issues.
